About the Position
Join ExampleCorp as a Kitchen and Bath Designer to create beautiful and functional spaces for our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that helps our customers with a wide variety of needs. You will use your design skills to create stunning kitchen and bathroom spaces. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be able to think on your feet and provide solutions quickly. If you are a creative person who enjoys a challenge, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities
- Attend client design meetings to take notes and answer questions.
- Create sketches of proposed kitchen and bathroom designs.
- Use design software to create 2D and 3D representations of proposed designs.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, and fixtures to be used in designs.
- Prepare cost estimates for kitchen and bathroom designs.
- Prepare design proposals for clients.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bath contractors to ensure that designs are executed properly.
- Inspect completed kitchen and bathroom designs to ensure that they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A high degree of creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
