About the Position
We are seeking a Lead Analyst (Finance Process Excellence) to oversee and lead initiatives that automate and optimize financial processes, strengthen controls, and drive digital transformation within the internal Corporate Finance Department. This role requires a blend of financial expertise, analytical acumen, and hands-on experience with SAP and AI solutions to enhance and automate workflows and controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead business process and financial cycle automation projects for the internal corporate finance department, with a primary focus on the implementation of SAP finance modules and AI solutions.
- Partner on internal IT projects to prioritize roadmaps, support Finance stakeholder requirements, and assess impacts on processes and controls.
- Lead and/or participate in the design and implementation of AI-based solutions to automate processes, controls, and enable AI-assisted analysis.
- Manage internal projects by defining scope, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, execution plans, and success measures, and ensuring implementation sustainability.
- Perform business analysis activities such as discovery phases, process assessments, gap analysis, and defining business requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Analysis in Finance or another related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in process design/process transformation and automation/project management/business analysis/continuous improvement.
- Understanding of business processes and financial cycles like Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, etc., alongside internal controls and compliance.
- Practical knowledge of SAP FI and related financial modules, gained through hands-on system use/consulting/implementation support/close collaboration with SAP functional teams.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve personal productivity, particularly in process analysis, documentation drafting, workflow optimization, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Capability to independently manage multiple initiatives and ensure project completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at various levels.
- At least upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2).
Nice to Have
- Experience in implementation or enhancement of SAP financial modules, preferably related to payments and bank communication and financial close management.
- Experience working in large international organizations managing end-to-end business cycles.
- Background in delivering AI-enabled solutions for workflow acceleration or process optimization.
- Qualifications in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA), project management (PMP), or AI-related certifications.
