Lead Backend Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a passionate Lead Backend Engineer to join our team at OneDome. If you are someone who not only delegates but also builds systems, writes complex code, and takes ownership, we want to hear from you. You will be working on our Java Spring-based platform, collaborating with a distributed team of highly skilled engineers, and contributing to the architecture and design of our growing platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our Java Spring-based platform for a quickly scaling business.
• Collaborate with a distributed team of highly skilled engineers.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our growing platform.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Work on product features and impact customer experience.

Requirements

• Strong Java experience (6+ years).
• Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MVC, Security), ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate).
• Experience with Relational & NoSQL databases.
• AWS knowledge, including ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
• DevOps skills in AWS provisioning, operations, and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
