The Silky Coders team is responsible for IT systems and infrastructure, including inventory management processes, sales, and the supply chain. With the latest technologies and custom solutions, Silky Coders forms the technological foundation of the LPP Group.

Responsibilities

• Develop e-commerce platforms for major clothing brands in Poland, such as Reserved and Sinsay, supporting up to 60,000 simultaneous users
• Develop software in PHP technology, using: Symfony, ElasticSearch, PHPUnit, BlackFire, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Linux, Jenkins, Varnish, Akamai
• Ensure the optimization and security of created applications and solutions
• Participate in meetings regarding the selection and implementation of backend technologies
• Monitor system changes for compliance with the target architecture and standards
• Monitor the quality of software produced by the team
• Analyze and optimize existing technological solutions, with a focus on performance and observability
• Coordinate technical work at the team and beyond
• Build a technical culture
• Support team members in developing technical competencies
• Face numerous challenges in the e-Commerce sector (and there are plenty in our dozen teams)
• Collaborate with other team members (developers, testers, Product Owner, Scrum Master)

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of PHP (minimum 5 years of experience) and its frameworks, such as Symfony
• Ability to create SOLID code
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Understanding of IT systems architecture, especially in the context of e-commerce
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of cache systems
• AI-powered skills: Experience with AI tools translating into measurable time savings and quality improvements
• Understanding of OOP architecture (object-oriented programming) and design patterns
• Ability to create optimized code, analyze and optimize application performance
• Experience in integration with external APIs and web services
• Knowledge of web application security issues
• Knowledge of the Git version control system
• Approach to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies
• High communicativeness and openness to collaboration
• Ability to work effectively in a team and focus on building positive relationships
• Proactive approach to challenges and problem-solving
• Responsibility, reliability, and attention to the quality of tasks performed
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer
