Responsibilities

The Growth & Marketing Lead owns growth and engagement initiatives for Glovo's most important business pillar - end-service users. The team is data-driven and results-focused. The person will have strong analytical skills, practical marketing and trade marketing knowledge, as well as a strong cross-functional project management background – with a hunger to make the business grow with positive ROI.

  • Definition and Implementation of Marketing and Growth Strategies:

    • Define Glovo local growth strategy, adapting the global playbook to local needs.
    • Lead local Marketing activations (offline and online) and manage/optimize in-app content to deliver on the agreed growth goals.
    • Define promotional, pricing, and point of sale strategy.
  • Analytical Responsibilities:

    • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with in-app offers, identify growth opportunities, and execute on projects to drive growth and engagement.
  • Business Development and Brand Partnerships:

    • Understand the local media landscape and define the right mix of digital/non-digital investment to maximize user base growth within the agreed CAC (Cost of Acquisition) targets.
    • Identify and execute local partnerships and collaboration opportunities to drive brand loyalty and positive image perception.
    • Track delivery market dynamics and competitor activities.
  • Driving User Base Growth and Leadership Responsibilities:

    • Lead the ideation and execution of user-centric marketing activations that drive growth, working closely with other functions (Operations, Finance, and Commercial).
    • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the activities carried out.
    • Communicate details, updates, and implementations across all stakeholders and teams with extreme attention to detail.
    • Communicate and simplify concepts to the audience's needs.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:

    • Establish meaningful business relationships on behalf of the business (Partners, Media, and other agencies, etc).
    • Work together with functional HQ teams to get the local message through.
    • Work closely with local teams to move forward on various growth initiatives.
    • Keep relevant parties informed about activities and accomplishments of the department and its programs.
    • Design stakeholder communication plans that motivate further cohesion within the business.
    • Compile and present reports on marketing initiatives/campaign performance through collaboration with the analytics and other HQ/local teams.

Requirements

What you will bring to the ride:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Economic, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of business experience, of which at least 3 in Marketing or Trade Marketing roles (FMCG, E-com, Telecom, FinTech, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills and practical experience in an analytically demanding role.
  • Technical proficiency in big data analysis and visualization (PowerBI/Looker/Tableau/etc). Basic SQL knowledge is a big plus.
  • Advanced project management skills in both local and international environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels (from analyst to GM).
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
