About the Position
We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to lead the design, configuration, development, and ongoing improvement of Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications). You will build solutions on the Salesforce platform, establish engineering standards, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and help drive reliable delivery through CI/CD and source-driven development practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and platform configuration tools
- Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable technical designs that align with Salesforce platform best practices
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, promote reusable design patterns, and improve overall code quality across the team
- Mentor a team of developers by assigning work, removing blockers, and coaching team members
- Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST, events, and secure callout patterns
- Own engineering practices around source control, pull requests, branching strategy, CI/CD, and release governance across Salesforce environments
- Partner with architects, QA, and business stakeholders to plan, prioritize, estimate, and deliver value iteratively
- Support production stability by troubleshooting defects, improving observability, and reducing deployment and release risk
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Expertise in Apex, Triggers, and asynchronous processing
- Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
- Understanding of Salesforce security, including sharing, CRUD/FLS, and secure Apex development practices
- Background in building Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST and event-driven patterns
- Experience leading a Salesforce engineering team, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence across a shared codebase
- Practical understanding of source-driven development, CI/CD, and branching strategies, including Git-based main/feature branch workflows, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and automated quality gates
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience analyzing and improving existing Salesforce configurations and customizations, including identifying technical debt, optimizing performance, and driving refactoring initiatives
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar), and ability to effectively leverage them to improve developer productivity and code quality
- CPQ configuration and quote-to-cash experience, including Salesforce CPQ rules, pricing, and package setup
- Experience working with managed packages such as DocuSign, LeanData, or other AppExchange packages
