About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP FICO Consultant to deliver high-quality SAP Finance solutions for transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations within the Life Sciences sector, combined with a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver SAP FI solutions as part of SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and compliance experts to translate business requirements into effective SAP FI solutions
- Ensure all solutions adhere to Life Sciences industry regulations (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), financial compliance standards, and internal controls
- Support integration of SAP FI with other modules (CO, MM, SD, etc.) and external systems
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and validation records
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end users and project teams
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 5+ years of expertise in the SAP FI module, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting
- Hands-on background in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and configuration
- Capability to translate business requirements into effective SAP FI solutions
- Familiarity with Life Sciences industry regulations and financial compliance standards (e.g., GxP, SOX, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Experience with integration between FI and other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for solution design and issue resolution
- Competency in preparing functional specifications, test scripts, and validation documentation
- Ability to conduct user training and support change management activities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- SAP FI certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Background in Agile or hybrid project methodologies
- Multilingual capabilities for global project delivery
- Skills in data analytics and reporting for financial analysis, including validated systems and audit support in Life Sciences
