Lead Software Developer (C++ / 4D / HL7)

About the Position

We are seeking a Lead Software Developer (C++ / 4D / HL7) to join our growing health tech firm based in London. Our flagship product, AcuBase Critical Care, is trusted by many of the UK’s most prestigious hospitals to collate and analyze data, providing high-quality information to further medical research and improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead developer responsible for the development of existing products.
• Work alongside a team of 4 developers to design and deliver upgrades and improvements to AcuBase Critical Care.
• Troubleshoot queries raised by clients.
• Support the team in developing software for mobile devices.

Requirements

• Essential skills/experience:

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken, ideally to IELTS 7.
  • Strong logic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, but with a strong team-working and collaborative approach.
  • Able to work remotely.
  • Alignment with our company ethos, which puts customer first with a focus on providing a timely and courteous service to our clients.

• Desirable skills/experience:

  • Experience in developing software for use in healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with ODBC, SQL commands, and HL7 messaging.
  • Experience in C++ based database software development, ideally but not essential 4D.
  • Experience in developing software for mobile devices.
  • Experience in handling confidential data.
