About the Position
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Golang to join our team and take ownership of designing and building scalable cloud-native backend systems. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Golang combined with an architectural mindset and a drive for building efficient event-driven microservices that power our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Golang, Kafka, and GraphQL
- Build microservices architecture leveraging gRPC and event-driven patterns
- Architect scalable software solutions deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Write clean, structured, and maintainable code following best practices
- Develop efficient and pixel-perfect user interfaces
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency
- Collaborate within a Scrum Agile team to deliver high-quality software
- Apply functional and object-oriented programming principles to design robust systems
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and practices to enhance engineering productivity
- Explore and adopt new technologies to keep solutions current and competitive
Requirements
- 7-12 years of senior application development experience
- Proficiency in Golang, Kafka, and GraphQL for backend development
- Expertise in gRPC, microservices patterns, and event-driven architecture
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments
- Skills in functional and object-oriented programming with design patterns
- Familiarity with concurrency concepts in distributed systems
- Understanding of Scrum Agile methodology with hands-on team experience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, additional languages a plus
