Job description
About the Position
We are looking for a Lead UiPath Agentic Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional team delivering enterprise automation across three strategic product tracks: Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), SaaS Portfolio Management, and Identity & Access Management.
This role is a hands-on technical lead - you will own the architecture and delivery of complex UiPath workflows, Coded Apps, and AI-augmented automation pipelines, while guiding junior engineers and coordinating with business analysts and solution architects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of UiPath automation workflows (both attended and unattended) across CLM, SaaS Management, and IAM tracks
- Architect and build UiPath Coded Apps (TypeScript/React frontend) and Coded Functions (Python) for custom process integration
- Design and implement Maestro-based orchestration flows connecting multiple automation components and human-in-the-loop steps
- Integrate automation pipelines with enterprise data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, data warehouses) for reporting, audit trails, and analytics
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate business process requirements into scalable automation architecture
- Review code produced by senior and mid-level engineers, enforcing coding standards, reusability, and security practices
- Drive technical decisions on component design, reuse patterns, and technology selection
- Coordinate across workstreams in a multi-app delivery environment, managing dependencies and integration touchpoints
- Participate in pre-sales and scoping calls as a technical SME when needed
- Contribute to effort estimates, technical documentation, and architecture decision records
Requirements
- 5+ years of UiPath development experience (Studio, Orchestrator, Action Center)
- Proficiency in UiPath Coded Automation using TypeScript/React for Coded Apps and Python for Coded Functions
- Hands-on expertise in UiPath Maestro or equivalent workflow orchestration, including human-in-the-loop, approval routing, and conditional branching
- Background in REFramework, Dispatcher–Performer patterns, and exception handling frameworks
- Skills in UiPath Integration Service and API integration (REST, SOAP, webhooks)
- Competency in Microsoft Azure fundamentals (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse integration and consumption
- Knowledge of SQL for query writing, data validation, and audit log querying
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment
- Qualifications in enterprise CLM processes (contract authoring, approval workflows, obligation tracking), SaaS/IT asset management processes, and Identity & Access Management concepts (provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access)
- Capability to lead a small team (2–4 engineers) without formal management authority, present technical decisions to business stakeholders, and work in offshore/nearshore distributed delivery models
- Flexibility to operate with ambiguity in early-stage product builds
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to Have
- UiPath Certified Advanced Developer (UiAD) or equivalent certification
- Experience with Ironclad, Icertis, or DocuSign CLM platforms
- Showcase of ServiceNow or Okta integrations
- Prior exposure to GenAI-augmented automation (LLM integration via APIs)
- EPAM or Big 4 consulting background in automation delivery
We Offer
- Opportunity to work remotely in Romania
- Engaging in cutting-edge enterprise automation projects
- Collaborative and innovative work environment
