About the Position
Join our team as a Licensing Specialist to manage financial licenses and corporate onboarding in global jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end licensing: Leading the application process for financial licenses in various global jurisdictions.
- Banking & PSP onboarding: Managing the KYB (Know Your Business) process and legal negotiations to open corporate accounts and payment channels.
- Legal research & gap analysis: Identifying the delta between current corporate structures and new regulatory requirements.
- Drafting & localization: Preparing and fine-tuning corporate documents, internal policies (AML/CFT, Risk), and UBO structures.
- Stakeholder coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for regulators, legal consultants, and internal Project Managers during the expansion phase.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Law (FinTech, FX, Crypto, or International Corporate Law preferred)
- Proven track record or deep theoretical understanding of EMI, VASP, or Investment Firm licensing
- Proficiency in managing complex corporate structures and shareholders documentation
- Ability to interpret statutes and guidelines from diverse regulators (FCA, CySEC, FSC, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of international laws, with experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance
- Experience with account openings and relationship management for EMIs, banks, and PSPs
Nice to Have
- Diploma-level professional qualification in Compliance or AML (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CISI)
- Experience with CFD/FX brokers, MiFID II, or payments licensing
- Launching offices/entities in different locations, cooperation and negotiations with regulators
