About the Position
We are currently seeking a Linux Administrator for our client, an international company providing solutions for various technology sectors. This role is based in Warszawa, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Administering Linux, LDAP, email, backups, monitoring tools, and communication tools
- Reporting hardware failures
- Managing PKI / CA and certificates
- Planning, testing, and executing tasks in system infrastructure such as installation, configuration, tuning, and patching
- Performing software and hardware updates
- Testing new software versions and configurations
- Resolving all reported incidents and issues
- Creating and maintaining documentation for daily operations
Requirements
- Diploma from a higher education institution (at least an engineer's degree)
- Approximately 4 years of professional experience
- Practical experience in providing second-line IT support - delivering, operating, and maintaining the end-user workstation environment
- Experience in administering Linux systems, preferably in distributed and complex environments
- Knowledge of Open Source solutions
- Practical experience in managing virtual infrastructures
- Ability to write scripts
- Linux system administrator certification (LPIC-1, RHCSA, or similar)
- Very good knowledge of English
