Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the central inventory management of international Heraeus Medical locations, control stock levels, and initiate shipments including necessary SAP executions.
• Coordination: Coordinate logistics processes in collaboration with international sales organizations, demand planning, regulatory affairs, customer service, sales, brand management, and other interfaces.
• Communication: Initiate regular update and performance calls with foreign companies and international logistics providers to identify problems early, initiate solutions, and continuously improve cooperation.
• Tenders: Provide your experience in tenders for international warehouse and logistics service providers. After awarding, you will support the setup of IT interfaces, process alignment, and go-live together with Heraeus IT, SAP key users, and the service providers.
• Freight Coordination: Coordinate sea, land, and air freight export shipments, clarify transport issues and export confirmations, support in case of transport damage and invoice issues, and develop proposals for optimizing freight organization, transport carriers, and material flows.

Requirements

• Education: A commercial education with further training in logistics, supply chain management, or customs; alternatively, a business administration degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience: More than five years of professional experience in logistics, transport management, or a comparable field.
• Skills: Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, and especially Excel, as well as good German and English skills for international cooperation.
• Attributes: A structured and reliable working style and enjoyment of coordinating with internal and external partners - by phone, email, and video conference.
• Advantages: Experience in the GxP-/GDP-environment and with medical products or international 3PL providers is beneficial. Occasional travel to international locations is not a problem for you.
