Machine Learning Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at ServiceNow, the AI control tower for business reinvention. Our platform brings together any AI, any data, and any workflow, helping 85% of the Fortune 500 work smarter, faster, and better. Join us to put AI to work for people.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate services behind ServiceNow's multimodal AI capabilities.
• Integrate LLMs into reliable, scalable enterprise features.
• Build scalable ML services for document extraction, visual understanding, and agentic automation.
• Deploy and operate on Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, tested code and monitor service health.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and consuming product teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in leveraging AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Strong command of data structures, algorithms, system design, APIs, concurrency, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and LLMs.
• Understanding of computer vision techniques and model evaluation.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating services with attention to scalability, observability, and reliability.
• Projects, research, or work involving document understanding or multimodal models is a strong plus.
• AI-native approach and a growth mindset.

We Offer

• Base pay of $158,900 - $178,100, plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
