About the Position
We are looking for a motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern AI technologies, experiment with Generative AI solutions, and contribute to real engineering tasks in a collaborative environment.
As a full-time remote Intern at Sigma Software, you will gain hands-on experience with machine learning models, LLM-powered applications, and modern AI development practices while learning from experienced engineers. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and improvement of AI/ML solutions and applications
- Work with machine learning models, datasets, and experimentation pipelines
- Support the implementation and testing of Generative AI and LLM-based features
- Participate in data preprocessing, model evaluation, and optimization activities
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to integrate AI capabilities into products
- Contribute to research and prototyping activities related to AI technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities
- Continuously learn and apply modern AI technologies and software engineering best practices
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and core AI concepts
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models and Generative AI
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or another Machine Learning framework through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with Git and basic knowledge of Docker
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with personal, academic, or pet projects in AI/ML
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn modern AI technologies and software engineering best practices
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
