Magento Backend Developer

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced PHP Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to building robust e-commerce solutions. If you are passionate about modern e-commerce technologies and have experience with Magento, this role is for you!

Location

This role is remote-friendly; however, a regular presence in the Czech Republic is required (once per month).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionalities for the e-commerce platform
• Implement new features within the Magento 2 environment
• Collaborate with an international team to deliver scalable e-commerce solutions
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Magento 2 (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and backend development best practices
• Proficiency in English for daily communication and documentation
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setup
• Availability for regular travel to the Czech Republic (once per month)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with Xdebug and PHPStorm
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Understanding of Scrum methodology
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Golang and microservices
