Maintenance Engineer

Location: Queretaro, Mexico

🎯 Target

Our goal is to ensure the reliability of our production equipment by implementing a proactive maintenance strategy. This role focuses on preventing issues, solving problems, and collaborating with Production, Processes, and Quality teams to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Responsibilities

• Drive Proactive Maintenance: Develop, manage, and optimize data-driven preventive and predictive maintenance programs (TPM) to anticipate failures.
• Collaborate for Improvement: Serve as the key maintenance partner for Production, Processes, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment failures to implement robust, long-term solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Offer high-level support for complex equipment issues and manage the spare parts strategy for critical components.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, industrial controls, and robotics.
  • Proficient in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Familiar with TPM principles (Corrective, Preventive, Predictive) and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Shainin).
