Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you will not only follow instructions but also create a maintenance strategy for a highly automated operation? We are seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager to take full responsibility for the availability, safety, and continuous improvement of our key technologies (conveyor systems, sorters, AS/RS).

We are not looking for a "hands-on" technician but a true technical leader. You will manage the internal engineering team, oversee extensive budgets, and build strategic partnerships with key automation suppliers (e.g., TGW On-Site service team).

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development and Execution: Transition from reactive to predictive maintenance. You will promote TPM pillars, manage RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes, and optimize the reliability of critical systems.
• Team and Vendor Management: You will develop, train, and motivate your team. You will also oversee the performance of external vendors and ensure strict adherence to SLAs and service agreements.
• Budget Management (OPEX/CAPEX): You will bear full financial responsibility for the maintenance department, optimize spending on external services, and establish a strategy for critical spare parts.
• Project Cycle Management: You will act as the technical authority during design reviews, commissioning, and technical handovers (FAT/SAT) of new technologies.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with safety standards (including LOTO procedures) and readiness for internal and external technical audits.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven managerial experience in maintenance or engineering (Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager) with direct supervision of subordinates.
• Strong background in highly automated environments (modern distribution centers, automotive, FMCG).
• Solid foundation in automation principles (PLC, HMI, SCADA) for quality technical and strategic decision-making.
• Practical mastery of modern maintenance methodologies (TPM, FMEA, RCA, and disciplined use of CMMS systems).
• Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1) for daily communication with international partners and working with technical documentation.
