The APAC Line & Price Optimizer (LPO) Practice team is uniquely qualified to serve as our clients’ pricing, forecasting, and innovation research partner. Our team’s main objective is to deliver powerful, actionable insights that provide our clients with a clearer business view and help maximize the potential of their brands. By joining this team, you will work with global data and leading data science capabilities to help clients stay ahead of emerging market trends.
As a Manager in LPO Solution, you will support the APAC RGM Team by executing marketing research and pricing analytics projects for our clients. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, as well as developing client-ready reports and presentations with a high degree of independence. You will deliver high-quality, polished analyses, clearly summarizing conclusions and recommendations in a concise, client-friendly manner.
Our external stakeholders include CxOs, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams. This role provides opportunities to work on high-visibility, high-impact initiatives, building strong recognition within the broader NIQ community. Associates will also work across a variety of solutions, categories, clients, and markets, creating a fast-paced and enriching learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong foundational understanding of RGM Pricing services, methodologies, and underlying theories. Become a subject matter expert for our flagship solution LPO.
- Own end-to-end project execution, from setup through final delivery of inputs and deliverables. This includes data checks, inputs preparation, analyzing data, and preparing reports for presentations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through empathetic understanding of clients’ needs/requirements and consultative advisory.
- Draft consultative reports aligned with study objectives and client business needs.
- Manages client correspondence. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing analytical support and insights.
- Confidently present findings both externally to clients and internally.
- Independently and accurately utilize LPO Tools and Platform.
- Ensure all internal and external deadlines are consistently met.
- Identify risks, questions, and issues, and proactively seek solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations teams, Statisticians, and cross-functional partners.
- Act as a strong team player, contributing to a collaborative environment. Able to coach and guide other junior members.
- Leverage existing client relationships to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience and proven success with Consumer/ Market research, analytics, pricing, revenue management, or consulting (quantitative essential, qualitative an advantage).
- Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical proficiency. Ability to analyze and interpret data in a challenging and insightful manner.
- Knowledge of statistics and research techniques. Ability to understand all technical and delivery aspects of the modeling process to carry out internal NielsenIQ and client-based conversations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-starter with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent presentation skills to creatively bring data to life with storytelling and attractive reporting to client expectations.
- Efficient time management, ability to multi-task, and detail-oriented.
- Displays maturity and creative problem-solving skills in handling crises.
- Recommend improvements in work processes within the area of responsibility.
- Able to multitask and has experience in managing multiple projects.
