Manager – DevOps & Platform Engineering Consulting

We're looking for a Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering Consulting who enjoys solving complex challenges, working with diverse teams, and helping clients transform the way they build, secure, and deliver technology.

This role combines technical leadership, consulting, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring. You'll work alongside architects, engineers, developers, security specialists, and client teams to design practical solutions that create measurable outcomes.

Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to improve software delivery, DevOps maturity, and engineering capabilities.
• Assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to enhance automation, security, quality, and delivery performance.
• Design and implement DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Define roadmaps for modern engineering and platform transformation initiatives.
• Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and cloud-based delivery platforms.
• Support teams throughout project delivery, from strategy and mobilisation through to implementation and adoption.
• Mentor engineers and delivery teams, helping to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, security, and business teams to solve complex challenges.

Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in CI/CD design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Git, and modern engineering toolchains.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
• Understanding of security automation and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of engineering governance, standards, and quality frameworks.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
