We are currently seeking a Manager Operations for our tMart division in Maadi, Egypt.

Responsibilities

• Managing Full Operations End to End: Oversee team operations, inventory management, pick-pack process, property/asset management, operational standards, expense control, and maintenance-related activities.
• Inventory Management: Ensure correct processes, policies, and proper execution of inventory management (stock-in and stock-out). Control shrink/expiry and maintain quality focus.
• Pick-Pack Process: Ensure efficient and correct pick and pack process and service level. Manage staffing and scheduling as per demand.
• Property/Asset Management: Proper management of the property and facility, plus asset management and tracking.
• Expense Control: Identify opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Maintenance Related: Define guidelines for engineering and maintenance tasks, equipment, and key activities.
• Managing Productivity and Staff Development: Manage productivity, work standards, and development of store staff.
• Monitoring and Managing Costs: Monitor and manage store costs versus budget for the section.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensure continuous improvement of current performance versus accepted standards/best practices.
• Monitoring Performance: Monitor financial and operational performance of each store and initiate required actions for improvement.
• Equipment and Infrastructure Management: Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in stores.
• Developing Action Plans: Develop action plans with the department manager to address weak areas in need of improvement.
• Training and Development Programs: Institute training and developmental programs for staff and monitor effective implementation.
• Product Range Availability: Monitor product range availability according to the selected store product range.
• Preventive and Regular Maintenance Plans: Develop preventive and regular maintenance plans.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in progressive development and management of multiple product categories, preferably in large retailers, in an international setting.
• Experience in fulfillment, e-commerce, or FMCG retail business is a plus.
• Proven experience in building teams and leading cross-functional projects at scale.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with senior-level executives and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
