Marketing Data Analyst

About the Position

NovaPay, an international financial service under the NOVA Group, is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our innovative fintech team in Ukraine. We create modern payment solutions for businesses and millions of users, developing our own payment system, mobile application, and offering a wide range of products and services both offline and online.

Responsibilities

• Extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources using SQL
• Optimization and expansion of databases to meet business needs and new products
• Analysis of the customer base and segmentation for new aggregates
• Designing and creating optimized data aggregates
• Creating new algorithms and automating processes
• Implementing data loading automation using SQL and Python
• Collaborating with various clients and assisting in creating technical specifications
• Independently researching and analyzing issues, forming recommendations and conclusions based on obtained data
• Preparing dashboards and analytical reports

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or consolidated information analyst
• Practical experience working with data warehouses and large volumes of data
• High proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL / MS SQL / Oracle), including writing functions, procedures, triggers, query plan optimization, and analysis
• Experience with databases: design, DDL/DML/DCL/TCL, query optimization, database object design, and relationships between them
• Understanding of multi-threaded database access
• High proficiency in Excel, especially Power Pivot / Power Query
• Knowledge of how to collaborate and write queries combining different databases
• Knowledge of statistics, Power BI, Python, Git, and Cron is a plus
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus
