Play a key role in raising the profile of innovative engineering solutions

MERECS Engineering develops sophisticated testing, measurement and automation solutions for clients in industry, research and development. To ensure our technical solutions receive the attention they deserve, we are looking for a committed student working part-time in our marketing department.

Do you enjoy presenting technical topics in an accessible way, developing creative content and playing an active role in shaping modern marketing initiatives? If so, we look forward to having you on board.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing and further developing marketing initiatives (marketing roadmap for the next 2 years)
• Creating content for the website, blog, newsletter and social media
• Creating and designing presentations, leaflets and other marketing materials
• Developing a corporate identity in collaboration with an external service provider
• Writing specialist articles, case studies and project presentations
• Assisting with trade fairs, events and client functions
• Analysing market, competitive and industry trends
• Maintaining and optimising our online presence
• Contributing to the further development of our brand and communication strategy

Requirements

• Currently studying International Marketing & Sales or a comparable degree programme
• Knowledge in the fields of marketing, communication, media, industrial engineering or a comparable discipline
• An interest in technical topics and industrial applications
• A structured, independent and reliable approach to work
• Creativity and a good understanding of how to communicate effectively with specific target groups
• Very good written and spoken German
• Good command of English
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly PowerPoint)
• Initial experience with social media channels, content creation or graphic design tools would be an advantage
