About the Position
We are seeking a Maximo Developer with 8-12 years of experience to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves providing Level II / Level III support for Maximo, receiving Jira tickets from various business areas, and troubleshooting/resolving issues. You will work directly with business users to support enhancements, participate in system upgrades, and support future Maximo implementation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level II / Level III support for Maximo
- Receive Jira tickets from various business areas and troubleshoot/resolve issues
- Work directly with business users to support enhancements, including larger requests that may take a week or longer to complete
- Participate in system upgrades, including the current/upcoming Maximo 7.6 → 9 upgrade
- Support future Maximo implementation initiatives, including functionality planned for 2027
- Write Java code: adding users, making configurations, enhancement ownership, writing new codes for enhancements, and updating existing codes
- Perform miscellaneous duties including report writing, SQL, software upgrades, data manipulation, extraction, and performance tuning
- Design and implement new or enhancements to existing budget, forecast, variance, and risk reports as well as others
- Identify opportunities and develop automated solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting / forecasting processes, as well as other operational needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8-12 years of experience
- Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong database design, management, and data import/export skills in SQL Server environments
- Java Code
- Experience in Data Visualization/Reporting (SSRS)
- Ability to provide routine on-call support
Nice to Have
- Experience developing Win and Web Applications in.Net
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry
- Oracle and MSSQL preferred
- Finance with IT Related experience preferred
