Media Asset Operator

About the Position

Media Asset Operator | Warsaw

TransPerfect is the world's largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business. Our Media Services teams handle localization, post-production, and delivery for leading studios, broadcasters, and streaming platforms. We're growing our media production team and looking for a Media Asset Operator to sit at the center of production, between the localization teams and the dubbing studios.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare source materials; transcode and manufacture audio and video assets across a range of formats
• Handle audio tasks in Pro Tools, including conformance, normalization, and editing
• Prepare working materials for the dubbing and subtitling teams
• Build masters and deliverables to client specification, and handle simple subtitle tasks (profile changes, basic offsets)
• Archive completed projects and keep assets moving correctly between production environments and stakeholders
• Flag technical issues and contribute ideas to improve our workflows

Requirements

• Solid understanding of video signals, formats, and codecs
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere and Pro Tools (both required)
• Working knowledge of localization workflows and dubbing studio operations
• A high level of autonomy, a collaborative mindset, and strong communication with operators, studios, project managers, and management
• At least intermediate level of French and strong English proficiency

Nice to Have (training provided)

• DaVinci Resolve and EZTitles/EZConvert - full training given on these and our internal systems, so the appetite to learn matters more than prior exposure
