We are looking for an individual freelance English into German Translator with experience in medical translations and, ideally, a medical background. If you’d like to help us translate our medical database and other products, we’d love to hear from you. - Working with medical content: You will be translating and localizing our medical content, i.e., symptoms, conditions, risk factors, diagnostic questions, and more, applying your in-depth medical knowledge to convey terminology accurately and your language skills to write content that people understand. You will make sure that your translations are clear for both doctors and ordinary people without a medical background, and you will identify and address linguistic issues along the way. You will also be responsible for translating apps and product descriptions, as well as simple legal texts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience in medical translation
- Native fluency in German and working proficiency in English
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to describe complex topics with simplicity and clarity
