About the Position
Microsoft 365 Engineer

About the Role
As a Microsoft 365 Engineer at Quality B.V., you will be instrumental in setting up, managing, and optimizing modern work environments. Your role will focus on helping organizations collaborate securely and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on identity, security, and compliance.
You will be involved in both migrations and the continuous development of Microsoft 365 environments. Depending on your seniority, your focus will either be on the technical implementation or on design, advice, and management.
Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and develop Microsoft 365 environments.
- Migrate environments to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).
- Set up and manage identity and access solutions within Entra ID.
- Implement Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Zero Trust principles.
- Manage endpoints and devices with Microsoft Intune.
- Implement security and compliance solutions (Microsoft Defender, Purview, DLP, MFA).
- Set up and manage virtual workspaces (Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365).
- Automate management and configurations with PowerShell.
- Work within Agile/DevOps teams and contribute to standardized processes.
- Document technical choices and configurations and contribute to the standardization of Microsoft 365 environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 and other cloud providers or a combination thereof.
- Broad knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and modern security concepts (such as Zero Trust).
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365, automation via PowerShell, and affinity with security and modern work environments.
- Extensive experience in managing, configuring, and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions, and the ability to independently tackle tasks.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and familiar with Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.
- Automate processes with scripting such as PowerShell, Bicep, or Terraform.
- At least two relevant Microsoft certifications, such as MD-102, MS-102, MS-721, SC-300, SC-200, AZ-140, or AZ-104.
