Microsoft 365 IT Engineer

Location: Brea, California (hybrid work)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities

• Keep the infrastructure that powers next-gen manufacturing secure, connected, and running.
• Work closely with a cross-functional IT team to maintain and improve Manufacturo's Microsoft cloud environment.
• Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Manage the deployment of new features and functionality of the M365 product suite.
• Provide support for end users experiencing problems with Office 365 applications and services.
• Produce clear technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and security decisions.
• Collaborate with the IT team to deliver end-to-end security solutions.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience administering and operating Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with: Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Entra ID (including Enterprise Applications and App Registrations).
• PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Network management background.
• Experience building scalable automation and operational improvements.
• Ability to take ownership, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives independently.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
