Microsoft Operations Engineer

About the Position

Are you motivated by optimization and business-critical application operations? If so, you could be the Microsoft Operations Engineer we are looking for to join one of our Operations teams, where you will play a key role in managing and optimizing some of Denmark’s most innovative IT solutions.

Responsibilities

As our new Microsoft Operations Engineer, you will become part of Netcompany Operations, a department responsible for everything from application operations to infrastructure management across two data centers. You will join a small, highly skilled team focused on the optimization and operation of large, complex enterprise Microsoft environments.

We are involved throughout the entire lifecycle: from proposal development and project delivery to daily operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Our customer portfolio is highly diverse, ranging from small private companies to large-scale public sector initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key link between our development teams and infrastructure specialists, playing a central role in ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

As a Microsoft Operations Engineer, your responsibilities will typically include:

• Deploying, operating, and maintaining environments and applications based on Microsoft technologies, Java, SQL, and other modern platforms.
• Configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems in a technically demanding environment, with ownership of specific systems and technologies.
• Automating and streamlining operational tasks through scripting and programming.
• Participating in ongoing operations projects, taking responsibility for tasks aligned with your experience and professional development.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you:

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software, IT, or a similar field or possess an equivalent level of qualification.
• Are motivated by delivering high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.

Employment is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).
