About the Position

Middle Java Developer (Data & Analytics)

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer with a focus on data and analytics to join our innovative team at one of Ukraine's largest banks. The position is based in Dnipro, with applications due by 16.10.2026.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Java-backend services
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases (including AWS Redshift)
• Implementing business logic and analytical calculations
• Optimizing queries and data processing
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, clients, and the frontend team
• Independently managing tasks from discussion to implementation

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Java development
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL) and optimization of complex queries
• Experience in processing and analyzing large volumes of data
• Skills in working with NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Knowledge of backend development principles, REST API, and multi-tier architecture
• Knowledge and experience with AWS Redshift (preferred)
• Ability to understand complex business logic and algorithms
• Ability to read, maintain, and refactor existing code
• English proficiency at the Intermediate (B1) level
