Middle Java Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Middle Java Developer to join our innovative banking team in Dnipro, Ukraine. This role is remote and offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of high-load projects for procurement and payment of goods and services
• Design and implementation of modules for contract management and inventory accounting
• Writing clean, scalable, and efficient server solutions
• Ensuring the security and stability of banking services

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in development
• Experience with the Spring, Spring Boot stack
• Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities and methods to mitigate them
• Solid understanding of Java Core and multithreading principles
• Deep understanding of OOP principles, SOLID, and multi-tier architecture
• Understanding of web application principles, network protocol stack, and HTTP
• Fluency in SQL and ability to write optimized database queries

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies, IaaC, and containerization
• Experience using AI tools for development process optimization
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (JS, HTML/CSS, Angular)
• Skills in writing quality tests (JUnit, Mockito)
