ELEKS is seeking an experienced Middle Java Developer for a new financial project in Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Kyiv). This role is remote and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
About the Project
Our client is a large financial services company based in the USA. They provide innovative portfolio management solutions to help financial institutions grow assets efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to implementing solution code with great attention to detail while adhering to Java development best practices.
- Write reusable and testable code, and create functional and practical technical documentation.
- Work closely with other team members and the client.
- Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact the project schedule and integrity of the application environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong track record of working with Java core, OOP/OOD knowledge, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of the Spring framework, IOC, and templates.
- Experience with JavaScript and Angular.
- Deep understanding of Java-based application servers (e.g., Tomcat, etc.).
- SQL knowledge, any RDBMS, with PostgreSQL being a plus.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
