Middle Mobile AQA Engineer

About the Position

N-iX is looking for a Middle Mobile AQA Engineer to join our team!

Our client is a leading financial institution driving digital transformation across its core products. You will join the Digital Technology Product Organization (DTPO), working in a cross-functional Agile squad to build and maintain next-generation mobile banking solutions. The team focuses on delivering secure, stable, and seamless mobile experiences for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Perform both manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS & Android);
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Kotlin, Appium, Selenide, and Rest Assured;
• Work with tools such as Charles Proxy (or similar) for traffic inspection and debugging;
• Analyze logs and identify issues across multiple environments;
• Create and maintain test documentation (Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases);
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers within Agile squads;
• Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing;
• Test using real devices, emulators, and device farms;
• Approx. 50% manual and 50% automation testing (subject to change based on project needs and priorities).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation);
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices;
• Hands-on experience with Java, Appium, Kotlin, Selenide, and Rest Assured;
• Experience with Charles Proxy or similar tools (e.g., Fiddler, Proxyman) for traffic and network debugging;
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and logging systems;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Intermediate+ level of English;
• Upper Intermediate+ level of Ukrainian.
