About the Position
We are seeking an AQA Engineer with 5+ years of manual testing experience and 2+ years with Automation, Python (Playwright, PyTest) to join our US-based client's enterprise IoT fleet management platform team. The role is remote with the possibility of working from the office.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for mobile applications
- Utilize mobile and web automation tools, specifically Appium and Selenium WebDriver
- Write detailed testing documentation: Bug Reports, Checklists, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix
- Perform informal reviews of testing documents
- Familiarize with industry-standard QA tools for defect tracking and test case management (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Work knowledge of HTML/CSS and SQL
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
- Understand computer networking principles and protocols: HTTP, TCP/IP, REST API
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Motivated by investigating problems and finding their root cause
- Upper-intermediate level of English
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing
- 2+ years of experience with Automation, Python (Playwright, PyTest)
- Good experience in writing and executing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for mobile applications
- Familiarity with mobile and web automation tools, specifically Appium and Selenium WebDriver
- Deep understanding of mobile application testing methodologies and platform-specific nuances (Android)
- Ability to write testing documentation: Bug Reports, Checklists, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix; perform informal reviews of these documents
- Familiarity with industry-standard QA tools for defect tracking and test case management (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and SQL
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks

- Being motivated by investigating problems and finding their root cause

Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of Android Studio tools
- Firebase, Kibana, Datadog, Charles proxy
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions)
