Middle Python Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Middle Python Developer to join our international team working on a powerful metrics collection platform. This cloud solution allows users to measure the health and performance of websites, applications, servers, and containers in real-time through interactive graphs.

Our team has improved the technical infrastructure and reliability of the platform.

The successful candidate will help complete the migration of the old architecture to a new multi-cluster, multi-tenant, fault-tolerant Kubernetes architecture, based on a multi-module, service-based Terraform approach and deployed in Terraform cloud.

Responsibilities

As part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing code and architecture
• Implementing unit and end-to-end tests
• Conducting research on problem-solving methods
• Coordinating with the client and team members
• Decomposing and evaluating project tasks
• Participating in coordination meetings with the client and project retrospectives

Requirements

Experience with Python

Experience in developing web projects using Python

Databases

Experience working with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)

Experience with Containers

Docker and preferably Kubernetes/Helm

English – Intermediate

Intermediate English proficiency is sufficient for interaction with other teams and the client.

Additional Requirements

• Experience in writing automated unit and end-to-end tests
• Experience in designing microservices architecture
• Willingness and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to learn new technologies in back-end and front-end
