About the Position
We are seeking a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer to join our healthcare startup team, working on automating and simplifying business processes.
About the Project
A progressive startup in the healthcare sector, recognized with awards in categories such as Small Business of the Year, Healthcare Startup of the Year, and Technology Startup of the Year. The platform's core idea is the automation and simplification of business processes, as well as the acceleration of interactions and decision-making regarding the procurement of medical goods. Standardization of data is particularly important, achieved through integration with third-party data services.
It is important to note that in its early years, the product has secured contracts with the largest hospital networks in the USA and continues to move forward. The pandemic situation has made adjustments to the healthcare industry, forcing rapid adaptation to new realities. Our client has found new approaches to working with medical institutions, and the project is constantly evolving, providing new services needed by the market. The project is being developed by two teams from the USA and Ukraine. The InterLink team's responsibilities include designing architecture, implementing business logic, refactoring, ensuring testing at various levels, and working with feedback.
Responsibilities
As part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and formalizing requirements
- Planning tasks and providing estimates of workload
- Formulating proposals for more optimal implementation of requirements
- Designing and implementing business requirements
- Refactoring code and architecture
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Participating in architectural workshops
- Participating in daily coordination meetings
- Participating in coordination meetings on project requirements and goals
- Participating in presentations of results
Requirements
Core Skills
- Ruby on Rails: Experience in developing web projects on Ruby on Rails
- MS SQL: Experience working with MS SQL databases
Secondary Skills
- Angular: Experience with Angular and Angular.js is a plus
- English: Intermediate level – communication with the client and team
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in writing automated unit and e2e tests
- Willingness and ability to work in a team
