About the Position
Join ExampleCorp as a Middle School Teacher and inspire young minds in grades 6-8. Develop innovative lesson plans and collaborate with parents and counselors.
Responsibilities
- Teach and evaluate students in one or more courses of study, such as language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of students in one or more courses of study.
- Prepare and administer tests and assignments to evaluate student progress and achievements.
- Maintain student records and administer report cards.
- Confer with parents, guardians, and school counselors on student progress and achievement.
- Participate in in-service education programs to keep abreast of changes in the field of education.
- Select and requisition books, instructional materials, and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a Middle School setting.
- A deep understanding of Middle School curriculum and state standards.
- The ability to develop and implement innovative lesson plans.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
