QA Engineer (iOS / Data Validation)

We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer with iOS testing experience to join our team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

About the Project

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join a long-term project focused on an internal iOS application used by multiple pharmaceutical business units.

The application provides sales analytics, customer targeting, market access insights, visit planning, and performance metrics. The role involves testing new features and enhancements, validating complex business logic, analyzing data consistency, and ensuring high product quality across different business configurations.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of new features and product enhancements
• Execute smoke, regression, and exploratory testing
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Analyze and validate API responses, business rules, calculations, filtering, and data aggregation
• Verify consistency between frontend data and backend responses using traffic inspection tools
• Investigate, document, and track defects
• Validate bug fixes and perform impact analysis
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Participate in requirements clarification and define expected system behavior
• Ensure quality across different user roles, configurations, and business units
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing coverage

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
• Experience with functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports)
• Experience validating API requests and responses
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience working with Charles Proxy, Postman, or similar tools for traffic inspection and API validation
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• English level: Intermediate+ (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Experience testing data-driven applications
• Experience validating complex calculations and reporting systems
• Knowledge of SQL for data verification
• Experience in Healthcare, Pharma, CRM, or Analytics domains
• Familiarity with mobile application release cycles and App Store distribution processes
• Experience using AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) for test design, requirements analysis, and QA process optimization
• Basic automation knowledge or willingness to learn automation tools
