About the Position

Truman Legal, a part of the largest Ukrainian company providing comprehensive communication solutions, is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join their team in Ukraine. Truman Legal offers comprehensive legal support to businesses in a complex regulatory environment, covering areas such as antitrust law, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Responsibilities

• Conducting legal research: analyzing legislation, court and regulatory practices.
• Preparing draft documents (memoranda, legal positions, claims, contracts, letters) under the supervision of senior lawyers.
• Supporting due diligence; working with registries; collecting and organizing evidence, preparing analytical reports.
• Assisting in competition defense cases (mergers, investigations), corporate law/M&A, defamation disputes.
• Administrative support in case management: deadline monitoring, document flow for the project.
• Working with notaries, state registrars, and other government bodies.

Requirements

• Higher legal education (or a student in the final years).
• Experience working in a law firm - from 1 year.
• Knowledge of civil law and understanding of the basics of competition, corporate law.
• Plus: understanding of MilTech, intellectual property, and tax law.
• Attention to detail; ability to work with large amounts of information.
• Structure, responsibility, willingness to learn quickly and work dynamically.
• Proficient written Ukrainian. English – level: B2/C1.

• Employment format - full-time.
• Hybrid work schedule: 4 days in the office and 1 remotely. With the possibility of working remotely (with a fixed place in the office and the ability to visit the office every day).
• Flexible schedule within business hours (approximately 10:00–18:00), without strict start and end times.
