RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. To holistically meet the needs of our customers, we have divided ourselves into three business areas: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks!

Our Managed Technology division rents our audio, video, IT, and communication solutions for international live events and offers comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. This includes not only festivals like Rock am Ring or sports events like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl, but also ensuring a goosebump experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• You prepare motorsport projects at the Nürburgring, manage the technical infrastructure, oversee permanent installations, and perform regular routine tasks (morning checks of the infrastructure, scheduled system inspections, coordination with the remote operations center, inventories, winter service measures, and material inspection before and after events).
• You are responsible for the setup, programming, and technical verification of our digital radio systems, intercom, and communication systems.
• You routinely detect errors at the component level and are responsible for the quick and sustainable resolution of disruptions.
• You document projects and technical deployments and create meaningful technical reports.
• You gradually take on responsibility for the operational planning and implementation of projects, taking into account technological and commercial aspects.
• You actively contribute to the further development of the Nürburgring site and build long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, event technology technician, electronics technician for devices & systems, IT technician, or communications electronics technician.
• Enthusiasm for technology, especially radio, intercom, audio, and IT systems.
• Initial experience in event, motorsport, or broadcast technology or the motivation to get into these areas.
• High degree of self-responsibility, reliability, and enjoyment of practical work in a technical environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to deploy at events and the readiness to take on routine and maintenance tasks.
• Good German and English skills for collaboration in international teams and customer environments.
