About the Position
Universal Bank is a modern Ukrainian bank with a stable reputation for 30 years. Our bank is known for its successful innovative project monobank, a joint retail product of Universal Bank in collaboration with the IT company Fintech Band, which is actively used by over 10 million clients.
We are scaling up and looking for a Head of Budgeting Department in the Financial Department.
Responsibilities
- Development of budget forms and data collection for forming the Budget, Business Plan, and Strategy of the Bank.
- Consolidation and analysis of data from structural units for planning Bank indicators.
- Building and supporting the Bank's business model (SREP, ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan).
- Forecasting financial indicators (balance, P&L, other forms).
- Preparation of management reporting and analysis of deviations of actual indicators from planned ones.
- Analysis of the Bank's activities (financial, factor, structural).
- Automation of the budgeting process.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of business projects.
Requirements
- Experience in the banking sector (budgeting, strategic planning, financial modeling) for 5 years, including 2 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in developing financial and business models (SREP, ICAAP, ILAAP, Business Continuity Plan).
- Knowledge of financial analysis (P&L, balance, cash-flow, indicator analysis) and forecasting.
- Experience in organizing the budgeting process and consolidating data at the bank / banking group level.
- Knowledge of key regulations (capital, liquidity) and NBU requirements.
- Experience in budgeting automation and management reporting.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in team management.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL or BI tools is a plus.
- Experience in optimizing and automating business processes.
- English language level B2+.
