Network Consultant

About the Role
As a Network Consultant at Quality B.V., you will be more than just an expert in network solutions; you will also serve as a strategic advisor. You will translate business goals into scalable network architectures and guide clients through implementation. You will ensure optimal network performance that is ready for the future while also understanding how to translate these into designs in a LLD or HLD. You will work closely with our team of engineers, consultants, and architects to develop advanced network structures that not only meet today's demands but are also future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Translate architecture blueprints and client requirements into functional designs (HLDs) for strategic network solutions.
- Convert functional designs into detailed technical designs (LLDs) and establish a solid foundation for implementations.
- Develop implementation plans (CIPs) that include risk analyses and step-by-step plans for safe implementation.
- Guide and direct network engineers during project execution, providing technical advice and support.
- Conduct in-depth root-cause analyses and propose proactive improvements for complex network issues.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Consultant, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Experience with complex network projects and providing strategic advice.
- CCNP certification or similar certification such as NSE 5, JNCIP, or another vendor.
- Experience in designing and implementing network solutions that meet the highest quality standards.
- Up-to-date knowledge of network and security solutions and how to deploy them effectively.
- Knowledge in the field of automation and experience with tools such as Python and Ansible (preferred).
- Clear and persuasive communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A structured and solution-oriented approach, always prioritizing stability, security, and performance.
- Ability to effectively communicate Quality's mission, vision, and strategy.
