Network Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen or Aalborg, Denmark, specializing in Cisco-based network infrastructure and security.

Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer, you will become part of our Network Team, which is an integral part of our broader Infrastructure organization. Your responsibilities will typically include:

• Expanding and maintaining our global enterprise LAN infrastructure.
• Managing network security solutions, including firewalls and related security technologies.
• Maintaining network monitoring and log management platforms using Orion and Splunk.
• Working with routing, switching, Cisco ACI, and wireless LAN controller (WLC) technologies.
• Collaborating closely with specialists in server, storage, and backup technologies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, network engineering, information technology, or a related field, or possess an equivalent level of qualification.
• Be motivated by delivering reliable, high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cisco infrastructure, spanning ACI, ASR and ISR edge routers, and UCS server environments.
• Experience with intrusion prevention (IPS) and DDoS protection.
