Responsibilities

• Gain experience in routing, switching, and network architecture.
• Understand network architecture (HLD/LLD) including firewalls, VPNs, and L4-L7 load balancers (F5, NGINX, HAProxy).
• Work with enterprise, core, and ISP class networks.
• Utilize strong knowledge of network technologies: STP, VLAN, link aggregation (M-LAG), stacking.
• Implement knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN.
• Apply knowledge of provider-level technologies: MPLS, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs.
• Utilize knowledge of data center technologies: VXLAN, VXLAN EVPN, MLAG, BGP.
• Experience with multiple vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Aruba, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer/Network Security Engineer.
• CCNP level knowledge of routing and switching.
• Understanding of network architecture (HLD/LLD) including firewalls, VPNs, and L4-L7 load balancers (F5, NGINX, HAProxy).
• Experience with enterprise, core, and ISP class networks.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies: STP, VLAN, link aggregation (M-LAG), stacking.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and inventory (NetBox, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Knowledge of network automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with networking in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP): VPC, VPN, load balancing, CDNs.
