Your Role as Network Security Engineer at Quality

How do you ensure that our clients can always count on a secure and reliable network environment?

As a Network Security Engineer at Quality, you are the specialist in the field of network security and infrastructure. You design, implement, and optimize secure network solutions that protect organizations against modern threats. Together with engineers, consultants, and architects, you work on advanced security and network structures that meet the highest requirements in terms of continuity, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

In your role, you directly contribute to the success and security of our clients. Your daily tasks include:

Designing and developing secure network designs (LLD/HLD) and migration plans for complex infrastructures.
Translating client needs and security requirements into scalable and secure network solutions.
Implementing and migrating firewalls, VPN solutions, segmentation, and other network security components.
Conducting security assessments, testing network infrastructures, and documenting results in clear test and implementation plans.
Monitoring, analyzing, and improving network security to timely identify risks and vulnerabilities.
Collaborating closely with management teams, consultants, and security specialists to ensure that networks meet all technical, functional, and security requirements.
Advising clients on best practices, security standards, and future-proof network strategies.

Requirements

What You Bring

You are a driven Network Security Engineer with a keen eye for security, stability, and performance. Furthermore, you possess:

Several years of experience as a Network Security Engineer, preferably in a consultancy environment.
In-depth knowledge of network and security protocols such as micro-segmentation, 802.1X/NAC, PKI infrastructure, and IDS/IPS configuration.
Experience with security solutions from vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Check Point.
Experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures according to current security standards.
Experience with SASE platforms (such as Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access), ZTNA (Zero-Trust Network Access), and/or Cloud Security.
Knowledge of 802.1X/Network Access Control with platforms like Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet FortiNAC.
A completed IT education and relevant certifications such as NSE 4/5, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or similar.
Affinity with network automation (Ansible, Python, REST APIs).

What We Offer

You will receive a permanent contract for a minimum of 36 hours per week. Because we trust in your expertise as a Network Security Engineer, we offer the following additional employment conditions for a full-time position:

A good salary, aligned with your knowledge and experience, between €4,000 and €6,000.
