About the Role

As a Network Security Engineer at Quality B.V., you will be the specialist in network security and infrastructure. You will design, implement, and optimize secure network solutions that protect organizations against modern threats. You will work with engineers, consultants, and architects to create advanced security and network structures that meet the highest standards of continuity, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing secure network designs (LLD/HLD) and migration plans for complex infrastructures.
• Translating client needs and security requirements into scalable and secure network solutions.
• Implementing and migrating firewalls, VPN solutions, segmentation, and other network security components.
• Conducting security assessments, testing network infrastructures, and documenting results in clear test and implementation plans.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and improving network security to timely identify risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborating closely with management teams, consultants, and security specialists to ensure networks meet all technical, functional, and security requirements.
• Advising clients on best practices, security standards, and future-proof network strategies.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Network Security Engineer, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• In-depth knowledge of network and security protocols such as micro-segmentation, 802.1X/NAC, PKI infrastructure, and IDS/IPS configuration.
• Experience with security solutions from vendors like Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Check Point.
• Experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures according to current security standards.
• Experience with SASE platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access), ZTNA (Zero-Trust Network Access), and/or Cloud Security.
• Knowledge of 802.1X/Network Access Control with platforms like Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet FortiNAC.
• Completed IT education and relevant certifications such as NSE 4/5, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or equivalent.
• Affinity with network automation (Ansible, Python, REST APIs).
