Network Security Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to manage F5 BIG-IP LTM and Virtual Edition, focusing on application security, delivery, and cloud security in Lisboa, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Administer F5 BIG-IP LTM and Virtual Edition.
• Manage virtual servers, pools, nodes, health monitors, profiles, persistence, and certificates.
• Create, maintain, and analyze iRules.
• Support GSLB/DNS services when applicable.
• Operate and monitor WAAP/WAF components.
• Perform troubleshooting of application traffic, SSL/TLS, and performance.
• Support security components in Azure and AWS.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, and vulnerability management.
• Execute upgrades, patches, hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Keep documentation, baselines, and runbooks updated.
• Coordinate with application, cloud, SOC teams, and vendors.
