Nucleair Ingenieur

About the Position

We are seeking a Nucleair Ingenieur with 10-15 years of experience to manage projects related to Belgian nuclear power plants. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation phases of projects, preparing budgets, defining project plans, and ensuring that deadlines and profitability goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design and implementation phases of projects;
• Prepare and consolidate design and investment budgets for the entire project;
• Define the overall project plan, monitor services, and ensure that deadlines and profitability targets are met;
• Define tasks and manage your functionally led project team, in consultation with subject matter experts;
• Organize meetings with the client and act as a strategic partner;
• Coordinate internal collaboration with competence centers and support departments (legal, finance, IT, risk management, communication, etc.);
• Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination and integration of different technical specialties;
• Manage technical and commercial relationships with clients and partners, including initiating commercial actions if necessary;
• Oversee the administrative aspects of the project in accordance with internal procedures, with the support of a Project Assistant;
• When designated as 'Project Engineer', support the Project Manager or Project Director in performing all the above tasks.

Requirements

• You have a master's degree in engineering;
• You have 10 to 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years as a project manager or assistant project manager, and you have knowledge of the processes within Engineering (consecutive phases, contractual approaches, …);
• Knowledge of Belgian NPPs is a strong advantage;
• Your native language is French and you speak fluent English. Knowledge of Dutch is also a plus;
• You are results-oriented, have a strong client focus, and are a team player in a changing environment;
• You are dynamic, flexible, stress-resistant, and meticulous;
• You will be based in the Brussels headquarters with frequent visits to the Belgian NPP site (Tihange, also Doel) and occasional visits outside Belgium;
• BA4, VCA, and authorization for access to nuclear sites are required.
