Occupational Therapist

About the Position

We are seeking a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our specialist paediatric service supporting neurodiverse children and young people in Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist paediatric neurodiverse caseload aged 2–25
• Complete functional, sensory, and developmental assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Support sensory regulation, motor skills, and functional independence
• Provide clinical leadership and support to junior staff where appropriate
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide reports, recommendations, and support plans
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Significant experience within paediatric occupational therapy
• Strong knowledge of autism, ADHD, sensory processing, and neurodevelopmental conditions
• Experience managing complex caseloads independently
• Leadership or supervisory experience desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred for community-based work

We Offer

• Competitive salary: £48,000 - £52,000
• Hybrid role: 3–5 days per week
