Operational Production Planner

About the Position

Cross Border Talents is seeking an Operational Production Planner for one of our clients in the Netherlands. This role is with a renowned Dutch agency specializing in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists for the Netherlands, working with clients such as ASML, VDL, DAF Trucks, Siemens, and more.

For an international innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a dedicated Operational Production Planner. In this role, you will report to the Production Logistics team lead and collaborate closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Material Handling, Material Planning, Product Lifecycle Management, and Global Logistics Services.

Responsibilities

• Operational Planning and Management: Responsible for the operational planning, management, and adjustment of production activities.
• Material Availability Control: Ensure control of material availability based on the progress of one or more workcenters within the factory.
• Representative Role: Act as a representative for all Production Logistics departments in lean/progress meetings of one or more workcenters.
• Logistics Management: Manage the logistics processes of the factory by initiating picking requisitions to the warehouse, monitoring progress, and processing administration.
• Troubleshooting: Act as a troubleshooter in the field of logistics to avoid disruptions to the production process.
• Analysis and Optimization: Conduct analysis and optimization of logistics processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement in material control, material planning, and parameters by participating in improvement projects.
• Initiative and Input: Show initiative and provide active input in improvement processes to enhance delivery performance.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-5 years of logistics work experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics or business studies.
• Initiative: Ability to take initiative to ensure production progress.
• Proactivity: Proactive person who can take responsibility for the tasks of the department.
• Communication: Strong communicator with persuasive power.
• Team Player: Structured, well-organized team player.
• Citizenship: EU citizenship or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP ERP.
