Operations Engineer, Infrastructure

About the Position

Are you interested in Linux, Windows, Oracle, Azure, or VMware, or perhaps all of them? Would you like to work with infrastructure and operations for complex IT solutions that make a real difference for both public sector organizations and private businesses? If so, you could be Netcompany’s next Operations Engineer.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will typically include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of one or more solutions, including monitoring, backup management, scripting, and performance tuning of operational platforms.
• Participating in project work, such as major upgrade, deployment, and transition initiatives.
• Ensuring security, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.
• Administering and maintaining clustered environments.

As part of our Infrastructure team, you may also work with maintaining our enterprise LAN environment, as well as managing, improving, and governing infrastructure platforms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you:

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software, IT, or a similar field or possess an equivalent level of qualification.
• Are motivated by delivering reliable, high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
